Flying ants are a seasonal pest which emerge between June and August, though they remain in circulation for a relatively short amount of time. They do have an aversion to one household product that ever home will have.
Dish soap.
That is right, dish soap and it does not have to fancy, non-branded supermarket buys work just as well. This anti-ant mixture requires little preparation and requires just water, a spray bottle and of course dish soap.
This mix is also free toxic components and will not harm your pets or children. The only downside, it is slightly less effective than your average insecticide.
When this mix is used, the soap spray dehydrates the ants’ bodies and kills them. However, this process may take a while to kill the insect.
