A fast-acting clothes moth killer that kills clothes moths on contact, Pest Expert Formula 'C' Clothes Moth Spray also leaves behind an insecticidal residue that is effective for up to 12 weeks, offering long-lasting clothes moth control. Formula 'C' can be used as a surface spray for application to the interiors of wardrobes and drawers as well as to carpets and rugs.
Until December 2012, the full Pest Expert range was only available to the professional market; however, as Pest Expert Formula 'C' is now available for amateur use, we have decided to replace the previously sold Protector 'C' and Insectaclear 'C' for this fantastic product.
Pest Expert Formula 'C' Clothes Moth Spray is a water-based product that is both low-odour and solvent free, so it is safe to use in households with animals and/or young children as long as directions for use are followed and they are kept out of the treated area until surfaces are dry (approx 3 hours). Formula 'C' should not damage any items that would not be damaged by water, although we would recommend it is used with caution on particularly delicate fabrics.
Formula 'C' contains the active ingredient cypermethrin at 0.1% w/v (1g/litre). Cypermethrin is a broad spectrum professional-strength insecticide manufactured for the control of most flying and crawling insect pests including moths, ants, cockroaches, fleas, and flies.
This 1 litre container will typically provide effective coverage to an area of around 25 square metres. Heavy clothes moth infestations may require several treatments.
To carry out a clothes moth treatment using Formula 'C', remove clothes and lightly spray the interior walls of wardrobes and drawers. Allow 2-3 hours for surfaces to dry before replacing clothing.

I bought the Formula C Moth Spray together with the demi-diamond moth traps (which I find fantastic), some of the Rentokil Hanging Units and Rentokil Moth Killer Strips. I'm slightly obsessive about moths as I had a number of expensive clothes ruined a couple of years ago, so now I don't take chances.
I find the Formula C moth spray to be very good, you only need a light mist on the inside of your wardrobes every 4 weeks, so 1 litre lasts for ages!

The Formula 'C' moth spray seems to have worked very well. While the product has no obvious odour, I would definitely advise wearing the safety mask. I would also recommend the Formula P Foggers these are excellent for 'Nuking' the room prior to spraying. The moth proof storage bags are also very good for covering and protecting. On the whole, I've been very impressed with this company and all goods supplied. G.K.
